IPTV setup guide: 4K Live IPTV on any device
In short: install an IPTV player on a 4K-capable device, log in with the Xtream Codes details from your email, make sure the device outputs 4K, then open a channel from the 4K group.
Five steps to 4K
- Pick a 4K-capable device. Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max, Nvidia Shield, a 4K Google TV, or Apple TV 4K.
- Install an IPTV player. TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, XCIPTV, iMPlayer or UHF.
- Log in with Xtream Codes. Enter the server URL, username and password from your 4K Live IPTV email.
- Set the app for 4K. Turn off any "reduce quality" option and let the device output 2160p.
- Open a 4K channel. Find the 4K or UHD group in the channel list and start watching.

Is it really 4K?
Open a channel from the 4K group, then check the stream information in your app (most players show the resolution as 3840×2160 or 2160p). If it shows 1080p, look at three things: the device's display output, the app's quality setting, and your internet speed.

FAQ
Why is my 4K channel not in 4K?
Usually the device or app is limited to 1080p, or the connection is below about 25 Mbps. Check the device display settings, the app quality settings and your speed.
Which app is best for 4K?
TiviMate and IPTV Smarters on Android-based devices, and UHF on Apple TV 4K, all play 4K streams well.
Do I need HDR?
No. HDR improves contrast on content mastered for it, but 4K resolution plays fine without it.
